Barça hits the field for practice under rainy skies

After three days of celebration, FC Barcelona returned to training this Monday at 5pm in a session marked by the rainfall that fell in Barcelona on March 25. In the midst of the league break for international friendlies, regulars Ander Astralaga and Marc Casadó from Barça Atlètic and Brian Fariñas and Andrés Cuenca from the youth team were present.

Iñigo Martínez did not participate in training, along with the injured Gavi, Balde, Pedri, Frenkie de Jong, Christensen (who also did not travel with Denmark). However, Ter Stegen, Cancelo, Araujo (who will return shortly with permission from Uruguay), Koundé, Fermín, Gündogan, Raphinha, Lewandowski, and Joao Félix are still fulfilling their international commitments and will rejoin Xavi’s squad soon to prepare for the match against Las Palmas.

Starting this Monday, Barça will have no more rest until the match against the Canaries. The coach has scheduled daily morning training sessions leading up to Saturday, when the Blaugranas will face García Pimienta‘s team at Montjuïc at 9pm.
