Barcelona braced for €15m bid for Mikayil Faye from Porto
Barcelona are braced for a bid worth €15m for defender Mikayil Faye from FC Porto.
Faye only joined the club last year but has made an impact with Barcelona Atletic and has been tipped to join the first team for next season.
However, Barcelona are facing a battle to keep hold of Faye as Porto are set to make an offer, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
⚪️ FC Porto will present formal bid to Barça for Mikayil Faye around €15m this week, meeting already scheduled.
Understand Barcelona want a buy back clause to be included in the deal as they don’t want to lose control on the player.

The suggestion is that Barcelona could well accept the offer but will insert a buy-back clause in the deal so they can potentially bring Faye back to the club.
There’s been speculation recently that Faye is a bit disappointed with life at Barca as he was expecting to make his first team debut last season but it didn’t happen.
Faye was part of the Barca Atletic side that drew 1-1 with Cordoba on Sunday in their promotion play-off final and should feature again in the return next weel.
