Barcelona pass Alejandro Balde and Julian Araujo fit ahead of pre-season tour
Barcelona have confirmed that defenders Alejandro Balde and Julian Araujo have now been passed fit after injury.
The news means that both players will be able to return to full training with the rest of the first-team squad as the club continue their pre-season preparations.
Balde has been out of action since January after sustaining a hamstring injury that required surgery.
Araujo has also been sidelined but will now be hoping he can show Hansi Flick what he can do in training and seal a place in the first-team squad for next season.
The two players will be part of Barca’s pre-season tour squad that is due to fly out to the United States shortly.
Barca will play Real Madrid, Manchester City and AC Milan in the United States before returning home for a Gamper Trophy fixture against Monaco
Flick’s side are then due to kick off their new La Liga campaign on August 17 at Valencia.
