Barcelona pencil in return date for Dani Olmo after hamstring injury

Barcelona have pencilled in a return date for Dani Olmo, with the summer signing set to return to action after the international break.

Olmo made a great start to life back at Barcelona following his move but was then sidelined with a hamstring problem.

Marca are now reporting that Barcelona hope Olmo will return in their first game after the next international break against Sevilla.

The report says Olmo has made “considerable progress” in his recovery and is feeling good on the comeback trail.

Olmo is likely to be used as a substitute against Sevilla with a view to potentially then being handed a place in the starting XI.

Barca face crunch fixtures against Bayern Munich in the Champions League and Real Madrid in La Liga after the visit from Sevilla. There’s no doubt at all that both Olmo and Barca will be eager for the player to be available for both matches.
