Barcelona ranked #2 most valuable football shirt, after Real Madrid


A new study by analytics firm Football Benchmark has placed FC Barcelona’s shirt as the second most valuable in the world, only after Real Madrid’s.

The study took into account the combined values of the main shirt sponsor and kit supplier deals.

Real Madrid’s deal is worth 190 million euro, with 120 coming from Adidas and 70 from Emirates. Meanwhile, Barcelona topped out at 175 million, with 105 from Nike and 70 from Spotify.

Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich rounded out the list.

Barcelona did place higher than Madrid when it came to total commercial revenue, although the Catalans were fourth in this metric. Bayern Munich, PSG, and City were the top three.

When it comes to the most valuable players in terms of market valuation, Erling Haaland of Manchester City came first, followed by Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. of Real Madrid.

Barcelona’s most valuable player was Pedri, who is eighth in the world.
