Barcelona to pay Bayern Munich if Robert Lewandowski scores 25+ goals

FC Barcelona has been the butt of many financial jokes following their frankly outrageous methods of raising cash to keep the club afloat. From selling stakes to bits of their old turf and raising money via YouTube donations, it’s almost guaranteed that anything you could think of is something that the Catalans did to facilitate income. Soon enough, they’re about to lose more pocket money if Robert Lewandowski had anything to do with it.

Javi Migue from AS via Barca Universal reports that the Pole could help his old club Bayern Munich by scoring at least 25 goals in all competitions this season, which would mean paying the Bavarians €1.25 million. The 35-year-old did this last season by scoring 33 goals, and he is currently on 24 for the season with a few games left.

For someone trying to cut costs like crazy, this does not help Barcelona at all. In fact, they’re trying to offload Lewandowski the first instance they could.
