Cerezo confident Morata will stay at Atlético, says Joao and Barça are “unchanged”
Enrique Cerezo, the president of Atlético de Madrid, shared that Álvaro Morata, the forward of the red and white team and captain of the Spanish team, is expected to stay with the Madrid club.
“I believe that the situation with Álvaro Morata is not an issue. He is an exceptional player, the number nine for the Spanish team, and a key player for our team. When asked about Mario Hermoso, whose contract expires on June 30, Cerezo clarified: “His contract is coming to an end, and I cannot confirm if he will renew or not. It depends on him and the negotiations. I can say that soon he will no longer be an Atlético de Madrid player, despite being a fantastic player.”
