Dani Olmo sends farewell message to RB Leipzig after completing Barcelona move
Dani Olmo is officially a Barcelona player after the club announced his signing on Friday, and the player has taken to social media to say a farewell message to his now previous club, RB Leipzig.
Here is Olmo’s tweet:
Olmo did enjoy great success at Leipzig, winning back-to-back German Cups in 2022 and 2023 and the German Super Cup last year with an emphatic victory over Bayern Munich thanks to a brilliant performance by Dani himself. Despite missing a considerable number of games due to injury Olmo was always a key player for Leipzig, and was a fan-favorite since the moment he arrived from Dinamo Zagreb in 2020.
His experience in the Bundesliga will certainly help him adapt to Hansi Flick’s style of coaching, and his familiarity with a few of his Barcelona teammates from their time together in the Spanish national team should make his adaptation process quite comfortable and allow Dani to hit the ground running as he returns home.
