Date and time of Liga 24/25 debut confirmed

The dates and times of the opening round of games in La Liga 24/25 have been announced. FC Barcelona already new they’d be facing Valencia at Mestalla, but we now also know that it will be a Saturday 17 August game at 9.30pm CEST. This will be the first competitive match for Hansi Flick as the new head coach.

The first game of the season will be a Thursday kick-off between Athletic Club and Getafe (7pm CEST) and the last two teams to get going will be Villarreal and Atlético Madrid, who get the Monday fixture at 9.30pm CEST.
