Deco and Hansi Flick make transfer decision after Barcelona’s draw with Celta Vigo
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco are said to be in agreement that the club need to strengthen both full-back positions.
The Catalans are short of options on both flanks currently. Alejandro Balde is first choice on the left but missed the draw against Celta after picking up a knock.
Gerard Martin came in for Balde again but has really struggled to impress in the first team this season and was hooked at half-time and replaced by Hector Fort.
Over on the opposite side Jules Kounde has made the right-back slot his own, despite preferring to play centrally, with Fort also playing back-up to the Frenchman.
Diario Sport say that Barca want added options in both positions but any signings are likely to have to wait until the summer transfer window.
Alphonso Davies has already been mentioned as a transfer target, although it’s thought that he will have a long line of admirers this summer.
