Four teams keen on Ansu Fati as Barcelona aim to offload forward
Ansu Fati has reportedly attracted interest from four teams this summer as he edges closer to the exit door at Barcelona.
The youngster had been hoping for a second chance at Barca under Hansi Flick but couldn’t stake a claim in pre-season due to another injury setback.
The arrival of Dani Olmo and emergence of Pau Victor have also further harmed Fati’s chances of first-team minutes in the 2024-25 campaign.
Diario Sport are now reporting that Barca are hoping to offload the forward in the final weeks of the window and have received interest from four clubs.
Marseille, Benfica, Wolves and Sevilla are all keen with Jorge Mendes said to be working on a loan with a purchase option.
Sevilla seems to be Fati’s preferred options but his salary may prove problematic. However, the chance to work with Garcia Pimienta again and return to his childhood home could help sway Fati.
In any case, it appears Fati has a decision to make on his future as he looks set to head away from Catalunya on loan for a second straight season.
