Hansi Flicks plans to keep injury-prone Barcelona star despite exit rumours

According to journalist Sergi de Juan from AS, Hansi Flick is keen on keeping Ansu Fati as part of his plans for the team, despite the young player’s history of injuries.

The reporter mentions that Ansu has displayed tremendous potential during training, and Flick believes that with time and proper guidance, the young striker can once again become a crucial player for Barcelona.

Even though there has been much speculation in the media about Ansu Ansu’s possible departure, it has been suggested that this is not a priority for the club.

In turn, Flick remains confident in Ansu’s abilities and is not ready to give up on him. He believes that with hard work and increased confidence, Ansu can return to being the game-changer he once was.

Flick is really impressed with Ansu

During the first pre-season training sessions, Flick and his coaching staff arranged special workouts with the team’s physical trainers to help Ansu regain his form.

The training sessions focused on enhancing his explosiveness, endurance, and speed, and Ansu seemed to be making significant progress. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury that prevented him from joining the team on their American tour.

Despite this setback, Flick sees Ansu as a key player who can give Robert Lewandowski a break in the attacking position.

There is a strong commitment from both Flick and Barcelona to give the young forward another chance to prove himself this season. Although his loan spell at Brighton did not go as planned, the club is not ready to give up on the young talent.

Even Lamine Yamal, a teammate, chose not to take the number ’10’ shirt, hoping for Ansu’s successful return.

However, the situation could change if a new left winger joins Barcelona. This might prompt the player to seek more playing time with another team, with Sevilla and Fenerbahce expressing interest.
