Hector Fort has signed a new contract at Barcelona that runs until 2026.
The right-back has broken into the first team at Barca this season and has now been rewarded with a new deal.
Here’s the club’s official statement.
“FC Barcelona and the player Héctor Fort have reached an agreement for the extension of his contract, tying him to the Club until 30 June 2026.
“The blaugrana defender has signed a new contract this Tuesday accompanied by FC Barcelona president, Joan Laporta; first vice president, Rafa Yuste; the director responsible for Youth Football, Joan Soler; and Club sporting director Deco.”
Fort now looks set to be part of the first team squad next season and will hope to battle for a spot in the team with Jules Kounde and potentially Julian Araujo.
