Jorges Mendes ‘pushing hard’ for Barcelona to agree new loan for Joao Felix

Jorge Mendes is reportedly “pushing hard” for Barcelona to hand out another season-long loan deal to Joao Felix.

It’s already been claimed that Felix was one of several players Xavi was happy to let go this summer, but it remains to be seen if Hansi Flick is a fan.

Diario Sport are reporting that Joan Laporta and Deco still want him as they think Felix is “a market opportunity and a long-term asset.”

Flick’s view is then likely to have a big influence or whether he stays or not and plays another season at Barcelona.

Felix’s options do appear pretty limited this summer. Atletico don’t really want him back and it seems he’s not interested in heading to the Saudi Pro League.

The Portugal international played 44 times total for Barca this season, scoring 10 goals and contributing six assists to the cause.

Has he done enough to stay or is it time to wave goodbye? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
