Lamine Yamal goes crazy for Jules Kounde after Barcelona’s win over Athletic Club
Lamine Yamal has showed praise on team-mate Jules Kounde after Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Athletic Club in La Liga.
Kounde came up against Lamine’s good mate Nico Williams during the clash and earned plaudits after putting in a superb display against the Spain star.
The Frenchman posted a picture of himself from the win after the match, with the caption “+3” on social media which drew a response from Yamal. The teenager replied: “best rb in the world rn .”
Kounde admitted after the game that he was delighted with his performance against Nico after keeping the Athletic forward quiet.
It’s been a good start to the season by Kounde who is continuing in the right-back slot and impressing in what we all know is not his favourite position.
Speculation continues that Barca will try to bring in Joao Cancelo, or even Marc Pubill, before the window closes, although financial constraints mean it will be difficult to land either.
