Mallorca reject Barcelona offer for teenage goal machine

Barcelona have an eye on the future in their summer transfer plans.

La Blaugana are expected to be busy in the coming weeks, as they look for reinforcements, but finances are tight.

Despite seeing their situation ease in recent months, new head coach Hansi Flick will need to sell before he can buy, as part of a limited budget.

However, alongside their push to improve the first team, Flick and the Barcelona hierarchy are also looking at rising talent across La Liga.

As per reports from Diario Sport, Mallorca have instantly rejected their €300,000 offer for teenage striker Marc Domenech.

Domenech burst onto the scene with 21 goals in the Group III of the Youth Honor Division last season, at affiliated side San Francisco, and Mallorca are determined to retain him.

Barcelona have been scouting Domenech since the start of 2024, and will continue their pursuit, with his release clause set at €1m, which rises to €3m if joins the Mallorca reserves next season.
