One player becomes the focus of Barcelona fans’ frustration after 2-2 draw against Celta Vigo – FC Barcelona
Barcelona fans have turned on one player after the La Liga draw on the road against Celta Vigo and flooded his social media with comments centred around the message of ‘get out of my club’.
The Camp Nou side were in domestic action this weekend as the international break came to an end and club action across Europe recommenced.
Hansi Flick’s outfit travelled to Galicia on Saturday to take on Celta Vigo and things appeared to be going well when they established a two-goal advantage in the encounter.
Strikes either side of half-time from Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski seemed to make it fairly certain the three points would be returning home to Catalonia with them.
But the game turned when Marc Casado was shown a second yellow card in the 82nd minute and received his marching orders.
Alfon Gonzalez halved the deficit for the hosts two minutes later, and Vigo ensured the spoils would be shared when not long after that when Hugo Alvarez struck to make the score 2-2, which is how the game ended.
The draw means Barcelona are five points clear of current second placed side Atletico Madrid at the top of La Liga, though Real Madrid can replace their cross-city rivals as Barca’s nearest challengers should they defeat Leganes on Sunday evening.
However, despite Barcelona still being in a decent position in the La Liga table, some fans have given up on one player in Flick’s squad.

Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong was a substitute at the Estadio Abanca-Balaidos and replaced Gavi in the 75th minute when Barca were still two goals to the good.
De Jong was in the engine room when his side went down to 10 men and the subsequent two goals conceded which ensured points were dropped.
And responding to the midfielder’s latest Instagram post, plenty of Barcelona fans have made it clear they no longer want to see De Jong – who joined from Ajax in 2019 – at the Camp Nou.
Among them, one wrote: “Actually you don’t deserve to stay at Barca, just carry your properties and go.”
Another posted: “I’m done with you.”
One commented: “Get out of Barcelona right now.”
Another wrote: “Leave bro…It’s enough, no toxicity, I’m saying it with kind expression.”
And one fan posted: “Frenkie your time with Barcelona is over, we don’t want you.”
The 27-year-old’s Barcelona contract currently runs until the summer of 2026, and he has scored 17 goals in 221 appearances for the club across all competitions, winning the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey and the Supercopa de Espana so far at the Camp Nou.
