Poll: Who is your Barcelona player of the season?

Barcelona’s 2023-24 season is now done and dusted following a final day win over Sevilla in La Liga.

It’s been another rollercoaster campaign that’s ended with no trophies, Xavi leaving, but a host of brilliant young talents in the first-team squad. But who has been the team’s best player this year?

Lamine Yamal has been one of the big success stories of the season. The 16-year-old has forced his way into the team and simply never looked back, scoring seven goals and picking up seven assists.

The young forward is not the only young star to have shone brightly. Fermin Lopez has also broken through in some style and ends the season as the team’s second-highest scorer.

Of course Robert Lewandowski tops the scoring charts once again. He’s not been quite as prolific as in his debut campaign at Barcelona but ends the campaign with 26 goals in all competitions.

Elsewhere, Raphinha has had another productive campaign and is into double figures for goals and assists, but it’s been a fairly frustrating year for Ferran Torres and Atletico loanee Joao Felix.

Fellow summer signings Ilkay Gundogan and Joao Cancelo have played regularly under Xavi, but injuries have taken their toll this season. The loss of Gavi was obviously huge, while Frenkie de Jong, Pedri and Alejandro Balde have all missed significant chunks.

In defense, Marc-Andre ter Stegen narrowly missed out on another Pichichi award, while Jules Kounde has once again played at right-back, Andreas Christensen has moved into midfield and Ronald Araujo ends the season with all kinds of doubts about his future.
