Ronald Araujo reacts to Barcelona’s Champions League win over Young Boys
Ronald Araujo may be having to watch Barcelona from the sidelines right now due to injury, but he’s still enjoying himself with the Catalan giants.
The Uruguay international posted a message on social media after Tuesday’s win over Young Boys at Montjuic that read: “Lovely night. We continue.”
The victory certainly was a great boost for Barca and manager Hansi Flick after the disappointment of defeat to Osasuna last time out.
Barca simply overwhelmed Young Boys, scoring five goals, keeping a clean sheet and being able to rotate players in the second half too.
Flick was able to give Ansu Fati and Frenkie de Jong some game time as the two players bid to try and regain top form after injury.
Hector Fort was also given some first-team minutes during the match, while teenage defender Andreas Cuenca was handed a first-team debut late on.
