The Bavarians have a better H2H record against the Catalan club.
Bayern have won 11 out of 15 competitive matches against Barcelona, giving them the historical edge. Two draws and two losses have been the outcomes of the remaining four games. 5. 2021/22: Barcelona 0-3 Bayern Munich
The Bavarians played the hosts at the Camp Nou field. It was the same story as the visitors dominated the match and returned home with crucial three points. Robert Lewandowski‘s two goals and Thomas Müller’s goal gave Bayern a well-earned 3-0 victory in a group-stage match and helped send a message to the rest of the tournament.
4. 2008/09: Barcelona 4-0 Bayern Munich
In 2009, the Bavarians had a disappointing trip to Barcelona for the opening leg of the quarterfinal. A squad led by Lionel Messi, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, and Thierry Henry easily defeated Bayern 4-0 in the first leg. Barcelona demonstrated their superiority and overwhelmed their defence with one of the best attacking matches of all time to book their place further in the competition.

3. 2014/15: Barcelona 3-0 Bayern Munich
In the semi-finals, the Bavarians and Catalans faced off once more. This time, the first leg took place in Spain, where the hosts scored three goals in the closing minutes to secure a resounding victory after over 80 minutes without a goal. It appeared the game would end in a draw but the Argentine Messi had other things on his mind and scored two spectacular goals to change the course of the match. He also provided an assist to Neymar to secure a massive 3-0 win.
2. 2012/13: Bayern Munich 4-0 Barcelona
In the 2013 semi-finals, Bayern exacted some sort of retribution for their 2009 defeat. With goals from Thomas Müller (2), Mario Gomez, and Arjen Robben in a 4-0 thumping at the Allianz Arena, Jupp Heynckes’ team made sure they had one foot in the final after just ninety minutes. It was a massive win for the German side, as nobody thought this match to be this one-sided given the Barcelona squad consisted of the likes of Messi, Iniesta, Xavi and David Villa.
