WATCH: Dani Olmo arrives in Catalonia to finalize Barcelona move

Barcelona’s newest signing is already in Catalonia. After agreeing a deal with RB Leipzig on Tuesday afternoon, Dani Olmo, Barça sporting director Deco and the player’s father and agents made the trip back to the Catalan capital to finalize Olmo’s move to the Blaugrana.

The latest reports say Olmo is set for a medical on Thursday, which will be followed by the contract signature alongside president Joan Laporta. Dani is then expected to join training with coach Hansi Flick and his new teammates on Saturday.

The official announcement of the deal is expected to come as soon as his medical is completed, and Olmo will be presented to the fans in the official squad unveiling during next Monday’s Joan Gamper Trophy against AS Monaco.
