With Barcelona set to fly out to Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup later today, manager Xavi Hernandez has released the squad list of players he will be taking along for the trip.
Barcelona will take on CA Osasuna in the semi-finals on Thursday night in hope to set up a final date against one of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, who will be battling it out tomorrow.
As was reported earlier in the week, Xavi has named both Pedri and Joao Cancelo in the squad list even though the duo is yet to recover from their injuries. There is hope that they might be fit in time for the final, provided Barça qualify.
Surprisingly, Inigo Martinez has also been included in the squad list despite the veteran defender suffering a fresh thigh injury this past weekend against UD Barbastro.
Alejandro Balde, who missed the cup tie on Sunday, is back in the squad. Meanwhile, Gavi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, and Marcos Alonso are not part of the list.
A host of youth prospects such as Hector Fort, Marc Casado, Marc Guiu, Pau Cubarsi, Diego Kochen, and Ander Astralaga have also been called up by Xavi.
