Barcelona’s Mikayil Faye drops hint about his future with cryptic post

Mikayil Faye has sent out something of a cryptic message on social media amid speculation about his future at Barcelona.

The Catalans are said to be keen to have Faye in the first-team squad next season but already have a host of options and so will have to find a way to make room for him.

Meanwhile, Girona and Juventus have both been linked with Faye, while Bayern Munich are also said to be interested.

Yet Faye has hinted he’s willing to be patient at Barca with a post on Instagram.

The defender posted a photo of him kissing the badge with the caption: “Patience is calmly accepting that sometimes things happen in a different order than we would hope for.”

It will be interesting to see how Xavi shapes his defence over the summer. The coach has said he wants Eric Garcia in his squad, while there have been rumors Ronald Araujo could be sold if a large offer arrives.
