AJ FCB Women’s Team will participate in an international tournament in Cádiz
La Línea de la Concepción will host on May 3, 4 and 5 the 1st International Tournament of Women Veteran Footballers, organized by the National Association of Women Veteran Footballers and the women’s team of the FC Barcelona Players Association is one of the participants. A weekend of high level of football where the AJ FCB Femenino will face Bayern Munich, Real Sociedad, Veteranas Parque Alcobendas, Veteranes Castelló and the whole of the National Association of Veterans.
The blaugrana’s delegation will arrive in the province of Cadiz on Friday 3 in the morning. In the afternoon, the agenda begins with the reception at the City Hall of La Línea de la Concepción by the president of the Players’ Association Juan M. Asensi and vice president Rafael Zuviría. In the afternoon-evening, the opening ceremony of the tournament will be held at the Hotel Campo de Gibraltar.
The competition will be played entirely at the Estadio Municipal Ciudad de la Línea and will kick off on Saturday, May 4. The AJ FCB Women will play their two matches corresponding to group A against Bayern Munich at 10 am, and Veteranas Parque Alcobendas at 11 am. Should they qualify among the top two in the group, they will qualify for the semifinals on Sunday at 10 am. One hour later, the grand final will be played.
