€45m Chelsea and Barcelona target wants to join Real Madrid

Real Madrid have an outstanding record in recent years when it comes to identifying talents from around the world, signing them and then helping them fulfil their potential at Santiago Bernabeu. Names like Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Jude Bellingham and quite a few others fall under this category.

With the amount of success that this transfer strategy has brought the club in recent years, it is likely that they will continue following it moving forward. And it looks like an Argentine wonderkid is in their sights next.

Franco Mastantuono’s name has been in a lot of headlines lately. The River Plate player seems to be the next big thing in Argentine football and unsurprisingly, a lot of top European clubs want to sign him.

Real Madrid are believed to be one of them. And it looks like they have been handed a major boost in any transfer race for Mastantuono.

As reported by Relevo, Mastantuono wants to play for Real Madrid and has commented so privately. For this reason, he has asked that any offer that comes from them be prioritised.

Clubs like FC Barcelona, Chelsea and many others are believed to hold an interest in the Argentine. But it looks like Mastantuono would prefer a move to the Spanish capital instead.

It is not hard to understand why that might be the case. Nobody can deny the aura that Real Madrid have, with 14 Champions League trophies in their cabinet. Many of the greatest in history have worn the Royal White jersey over the years. And perhaps even more importantly for someone like Mastantuono, they have shown in recent years that they have the ability and patience required to developed wonderkids into bonafide superstars of the game.
