Nobody quite expected Barcelona’s game tonight against Granada to be quite as dramatic as anyone would have thought. However, given the nature of this fixture across the last few years, nobody should be surprised.
Barcelona took the lead through Lamine Yamal, but it was equalised through Ricard Sanchez, who found the near post right before half-time.
They then carried that momentum into the second-half, and scored the second in the 60th minute, after which Barcelona and Granada both scored within five minutes.
With Barcelona now trailing 2-3, Lamine Yamal took control of matters into his own hand once again, scoring a sensational goal into the bottom corner.
Both team got a couple of chances in the dying minutes, but could not find a way through, with the game finishing 3-3.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen: 2
Understandably rough after a four-month lay-off, but that cannot excuse the multiple mistakes he made today, including carelessly giving away the ball several times. Was also questionably positioned for Granada’s first and third goal.
Jules Kounde: 6
A few mistakes in the opening minutes, but grew into the game, playing some line-breaking passes into midfield, and supporting Lamine Yamal on the right.
Made a stupid error for the second goal, trying to close into Pau Cubarsi, who won the header, creating space for Uzuni.
Pau Cubarsi: 7.5
Playing well beyond his years once again, had the right side of the defence completely under control with his passing. Put his body on the line to defend multiple times, too.
Íñigo Martínez: 7
Inigo was tremendous in possession, opening up the pitch to start attacks seamlessly despite Granada’s press. Can be questioned about the first goal, though, but apart from that a solid showing.
Joao Cancelo: 6
Helped open the scoring with a brilliant individual effort, finding Lamine Yamal at the far post, but had a tough time dealing with Pellestri and was poorly positioned for the first goal, too.
Ilkay Gundogan: 9 (MOTM)
Gudogan put in yet another ridiculous performance, gliding through the centre of the pitch in possession, beating the press with ease. Created a superb chance for Lewandowski which was not buried, but eventually got the assist he deserved with a beautiful flick.
Andreas Christensen: 7
An impressive performance from Christensen as the pivot, who played it safe in possession. Used his strength to shield the ball and potentially prevented a goal by diving in front of a shot.
Frenkie de Jong: 6
As integral as de Jong is in possession, especially while playing out of the back, his defensive passiveness is becoming a problem for Barcelona. Was caught ball-watching during the game instead of marking Ricard, who ended up scoring.
Lamine Yamal: 9
The best forward for Barcelona for the sixth game running, Yamal ran the right-wing like a seasoned pro. Scored the opener with brilliant movement, and started what could have been Barcelona’s best goal of the season, and was eventually missed.
Came up clutch later on as well, with an absolute golazo from outside the box.
Robert Lewandowski: 7
Was actually having an impressive game before missing a sitter from six yards out. Made up for it later on with a solid finish.
Pedri: 7.5
Wriggled his way out of pressure multiple times to create chances, including the chance for Lewandowski inside the box. Covered the attacking midfield position alongside Gundogan superbly.

Fermin Lopez: 7
Added some much-needed intensity to the midfield, which helped change the tempo of the game.
