Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen is being linked with a return to the Premier League and a move to Newcastle United in the summer transfer window.
Christensen arrived on a free transfer from Chelsea and has been a great addition to the squad but could be on his way at the end of the current season.
It’s been reported that Barca plan to sell a center-back this summer as they are aiming to bring back Chadi Riad from Real Betis.
Diario Sport claim that Newcastle are “very interested” in Christensen as they look to reshape their backline in the summer.
As things stand, Christensen wants to stay but he may have a change of heart if he struggles for game time for the rest of the season.
Christensen isn’t the only defender receiving interest from elsewhere currently. Ronald Araujo also has admirers, with Bayern Munich keen on the Uruguay international.
