Bayer Leverkusen hoping to beat Barcelona to Girona’s Aleix Garcia
Freshly-crowned Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona target Aleix Garcia.
Garcia has been linked with a move to Barcelona this season and has said openly that he would like to play for the Catalan giants at some point in his career.
However, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has claimed Leverkusen could try and tempt the midfielder to Germany instead.
Romano says Leverkusen have made an enquiry for Garcia but do also have other names in the frame to strengthen their squad.

Barcelona’s top priority this summer is thought to be a new pivot but, as we all know, the club may find their options limited due to their ongoing financial issues.
Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez has emerged as the most likely option in recent weeks, as he is out of contract at the end of the season and able to move on a free transfer.
