FC Barcelona announce squad for Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Osasuna
Xavi Hernández has called up 25 players for Thursday’s clash
The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana are in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Osasuna, and Xavi Hernández has called up the following 25 players for Thursday’s game:

Midfielders: 8. Pedri*, 18. Oriol Romeu, 20. Sergi Roberto, 21. Frenkie de Jong, 22. Ilkay Gündogan, 30. Marc Casadó, 32. Fermín López

Xavi took his entire group to Saudi Arabia apart from Marc-André ter Stegen (back), Marcos Alonso (back) and Gavi (knee) who are long-term injury issues, but everyone else is in the squad. That includes João Cancelo (knee) and Pedri (hamstring), who have not yet been ruled out of Thursday’s match and will try to get the medical green light to be in uniform before the game. Lamine Yamal is back after missing out through suspension at the weekend, and Xavi will have to cut two players from the final 23-man squad.
