FC Barcelona heading on tour to the west of the United States

FC Barcelona will be visiting Santa Clara, Los Angeles, Dallas and Las Vegas for a tour of the United States that includes friendlies against Juventus, Arsenal, Real Madrid and AC Milan. While last year’s tour was centred mainly in the east of the country, this year it is mainly focused on the west, and particularly Los Angeles.

The team flies straight to LAX this Wednesday, and will be based in the Californian city until July 28, although the first game will be played at the Levi’s Stadium to the south of San Francisco on July 22 against Juventus. The team will fly straight back to LA after the game.

Next up are Arsenal on July 26 at the SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, LA, the first time Barça have faced the Gunners since the 2016 UEFA Champions League round of 16, which the Catalans won 5-2 on aggregate.

After nine days in LA, on July 28 they head for Dallas and a game with Real Madrid the day after at the AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. It’s the third time the teams have met on US soil, and Barça won both the previous meetings at the Hard Rock Stadium, Miami in 2017 and the Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas in 2022.

On July 31, the team heads back west to Las Vegas, where they end their tour against AC Milan on August 1 at the Allegiant Stadium.

The team will play all these games with the Estrella Damm logo on their right sleeve, and the CUPRA logo on the back of their training and warm-up kits.

Institutional representation

The players are being joined by president Joan Laporta and several members of his board, who will be attending a number of social and commercial events while in a country of such strategic importance to the club, and where it is so important to make personal contact with its huge fan base across the nation.

This is the fourteenth time that Barça have visited the USA, the first dating all the way back to 1937, a tour that played a key role in the club’s very survival. The most recent visits were in 2011, 2015, 2017, 2018 (together with the women’s team), 2019 and 2022.
