Florentino Perez to Reward Cash Bonuses to Rodrygo & Co. For Beating FC Barcelona at Spanish Super Cup Final: Reports

After last year’s disappointing 1-3 loss in the Spanish Super Cup final, Los Blancos boss, Florentino Perez has decided to boost the team’s confidence with an exciting monetary upgrade. Reportedly, the Spanish boss will dish out an extra six-figure cash prize for every team member if they emerge victorious!

The match will take place on Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Al Awwal Park in Riyadh and is expected to run full house. Real Madrid has been in stellar form recently, winning 12 out of their 13 last games. FC Barcelona, on the other hand, has had a mixed season so far currently placed 3rd in the league. Looking at the previous result, Florentino Perez does not need to provide any incentive for his team to perform. The total cumulative bonus will be around $43.8 million. This will cover all the players and also the coaching staff, as agreed.

Notably, this is almost half the amount the club will receive as a prize from the tournament itself. Real Madrid is already assured of $7.6 million for reaching the final, along with its rivals, and is expected to mint $1.1 million more if it wins.

On its way to the final, Real Madrid crushed its rival, Atletico Madrid. The 5-3 victory came as revenge for their previous 3-1 loss. In an astonishing game, three of the five goals for Madrid came from their back line. One from Ozil’s world’s current best defender, Antonio Rudiger.
