BARCELONA — One of the most legendary clubs in European football eyes another UEFA Champions League quarterfinal berth, as Barcelona gets set to battle Napoli in the second leg of the Round of 16 on Tuesday.

Barcelona looked as if they were going to steal one on the road in the first leg a few weeks ago. A goal from Robert Lewandowski in the 60th minute gave Barcelona the lead, but Victor Osimhen scored about 15 minutes later to help Napoli settle for a draw at home.
Now, all Barcelona needs to do is win at home on Tuesday. While they are not as strong as they have been in past years, but they have the necessary talent to punch their ticket to the quarterfinals for the first time since 2020.
If Napoli comes out swinging, it will certainly make things interesting. The Italian side is hoping to advance to the quarters in the UCL for the second consecutive season.
Napoli is looking to get revenge on Barcelona on the last two times they have met in UEFA competition. They met in the Champions League in the 2019-20 season, when Barcelona outlasted Napoli in the Round of 16. They faced off in the Europa League Knockout round playoffs in 2021-22, with Barcelona outscoring Napoli, 5-3.
