List of Barcelona matches Raphinha could miss through injury as he faces one month out

Just a while ago, FC Barcelona confirmed via an official statement that Raphinha had suffered a hamstring injury during the club’s Spanish Super Cup semi-final clash against CA Osasuna last night.

While a specific timeline for his recovery was not mentioned by the club, his involvement for Sunday’s Super Cup final against Real Madrid was pretty much ruled out.

Raphinha could be out for a month

Now, though, Roger Torello of Mundo Deportivo has come up with an update on the potential timeframe for which Raphinha would be unavailable for selection for Barcelona.

As per the update, the Brazilian winger, whose market value stands at €50 million, would be out for a period of one month.

It would mean that the 27-year-old’s involvement for the Blaugrana’s UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash against Napoli, on February 21, could be in jeopardy as he would be returning just before that game.

List of matches Raphinha will miss

As iterated earlier, Raphinha is ruled out of Sunday’s Spanish Super Cup final against Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia. Beyond that, the 27-year-old is set to miss several other important fixtures for the La Liga champions.

  • Real Madrid vs Barcelona – January 14 (Super Cup final)
  • Unionistas vs Barcelona – January 18 (Copa del Rey)
  • Real Betis vs Barcelona – January 21 (La Liga)
  • Barcelona vs Villarreal – January 27 (La Liga)
  • Barcelona vs Osasuna – January 30 (La Liga)
  • Alaves vs Barcelona – February 3 (La Liga)
  • Barcelona vs Granada – February 11 (La Liga)
  • Celta Vigo vs Barcelona – February 18 (La Liga)

In addition to these games, Raphinha could also miss the quarter-finals (25 January) and the first leg of the semi-finals (6-7 February) of the Copa del Rey in the scenario that Barcelona progress in the tournament.

Beyond that, his involvement in the first leg of the Round of 16 UCL tie against Napoli could also be in question.
