Official: Barcelona starting lineup against Getafe | La Liga GW26
As Barcelona get set to take on Getafe at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in a little over an hour, manager Xavi Hernandez has announced the starting lineup that will take the field.
Marc-Andre ter Stegen starts in goal as usual, as he continues his search for a clean sheet since returning from injury.
Meanwhile, Ronald Araujo and Pau Cubarsi form the centre-back pairing for the reigning La Liga champions, flanked by the full-back pairing of Jules Kounde and Joao Cancelo, who continues at left-back in Alejandro Balde’s absence.
Xavi has once again stuck with Andreas Christensen as the pivot midfielder, following some solid displays in the new role in recent games.
Supporting him in the centre of the park are Frenkie de Jong and Ilkay Gundogan, with Pedri being given a breather.
Up top, Robert Lewandowski starts again and will be aiming to continue his recent goalscoring streak. He will be supported by Raphinha from the right, who comes in for Lamine Yamal, with the youngster being given a well-deserved rest.
Joao Felix occupies the left flank for the hosts against Getafe.
