Successful December for Barça Academy Pro Miami Teams in National Tournaments
In the month of December, Barça Academy Pro Miami witnessed outstanding performances from its teams in several high-profile national tournaments. The academy’s young talents showcased their skills and determination, earning commendable results across various competitions.
The journey began with the National PRO League, where the 2010 Pro and 2008 Pro teams demonstrated exceptional prowess, advancing to the next round as leaders of their respective groups. Despite the 2009 Pro team not progressing, the tournament proved to be a valuable experience for the players.
Continuing the impressive run, the 2013 Gundogan and 2014 Pedri teams competed in the Playoff of the EDP League. This exclusive competition features only the champions and runners-up from each region of Florida. The 2013 Gundogan team reached the final, while the 2014 Pedri team secured victory for the second consecutive year.
The momentum continued with the participation of the 2007 Pro and 2010 Pro teams in the prestigious Tampa Bay Supercup. Both teams relished the opportunity to compete in this high-level tournament.
Wrapping up the successful month, the 2008 Pro and 2007 Pro teams traveled to participate in the Disney Showcase during the last days of December. The 2008 Pro team concluded the month spectacularly by clinching the tournament title. Additionally, they secured victory in the EDP League during December. While the 2007 Pro team didn’t have the same fortune, they embraced the valuable experience gained from the tournament.
