As the first half progressed, Barcelona began to show their discontent, which led to a yellow card for A. Christensen in the 36th minute. Soon after, Barcelona made their first substitution, bringing in F. de Jong, who replaced young talent Gavi. A few minutes later, however, he himself received a yellow card, aggravating Barcelona’s situation. Celta Vigo were not without offences: in the 43rd minute, U. Nunez was cautioned. Nunez was warned. The first half ended with a deserved advantage of “Celta Vigo” – 1:0. The second half went under the sign of substitutions: both teams tried to gain the advantage. Barcelona made two substitutions at half-time, bringing on O. Romeu and M. Alonso instead of R. Araujo and L. Yamal respectively. This tactical manoeuvre seemed to give Barcelona more energy and they began to dominate the pitch. In the 60th minute Barcelona made another substitution: A. Christensen replaced A. Balde.

Celta Vigo also made their first substitution, replacing J.S. Larsen with A. Duvikas in the 66th minute. Duvikas. Ignoring the setback, Celta Vigo increased their lead with a goal by A. Duvikas in the 76th minute, stunning the spectators. As time ran out, Barcelona began to fight vigorously. As a result, in the 81st minute R. Lewandowski scored a goal for Barcelona. The stadium erupted in cheers when the home side took the lead. “Barcelona” continued to strive hard for victory, and in the 86th minute R. Lewandowski struck another blow, levelling the score on the scoreboard – 2:2. The atmosphere at the Olympique Lluis Compagnies stadium was heated to the limit, and the fans felt that an incredible comeback was on the horizon. In the final minutes of the match, Barcelona completed their amazing turnaround in the game when in the 89th minute, J. Cancelo scored a goal. The desperation of the Celta Vigo players was evident, but credit must be given to both teams for their exciting fightback. In the final minutes of the match, Celta Vigo made two late substitutions: M. Rodriguez came on in place of U. Nunez, and J. Bamba came on in place of C. Dotor. Despite their best efforts, Celta Vigo failed to equalise and the match ended in a hard-fought 3-2 victory for Barcelona. This exciting La Liga match will surely be remembered as a real football spectacle. Barcelona’s determination and resilience allowed them to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, while Celta Vigo demonstrated their ability to compete with the league’s top teams.
