Club Friendly: FC Barcelona Beaten By Club America 3-2 In USA
Spanish manager Xavi will be irate after his side Barcelona lost a friendly to South American side, Club America 3-2 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, USA. Club America are the new Liga MX Apertura champions whereas the Catalans are the reigning champions in Spain. Barca’s hot-prospect Lamine Yamal opened the scoring for the Spanish team but the South American side responded well in the 12th minute with a goal from Julian Quinones. However, the Catalans took the lead again in the 28th minute from Marc Guiu. Post interval, Club America were a team transformed as they struck in the 50th minute with Henry Martin scoring the winner in the 82nd minute.
