This guide details the requirements, rewards, and tips you’ll need to know to complete the Flashback Alphonso Davies challenge.

Whether Katie McCabe will slot into your starting 11, or you simply need an 88-rated fodder card, this objective will be quite rewarding for a relatively short time commitment. Be sure to complete the objective before it expires; once it’s gone, it will be gone forever.

When Does The Year In Review 2 Objective Expire?

The Katie McCabe Objective, Year In Review 2, in EA Sports FC 24.

The 2023 Year In Review Objective to earn Katie McCabe expires at reset time on Friday, February 2nd, 2024.

The reset time is 1:00 pm EST, 6:00 pm GMT.

Each Year In Review Objective group lasts one week from its introduction.

Luckily, the four objectives can be completed in roughly an hour of playing if you properly optimize your team, as outlined below.

How Do You Get TOTY Honorable Mentions Katie McCabe?

To earn Team of the Year Honorable Mentions Katie McCabe, you need to complete the four themed objectives that commemorate some of the year’s most noteworthy achievements.

While you cannot work on all four objectives at once, they can be efficiently finished by separating them into two groups of two.

All matches must be completed on a minimum Semi-Pro difficulty in Squad Battles, or in either Rivals or Champions.

FC Barcelona Treble & Sevilla’s Seven

FC Barcelona Treble:

  • Win three matches with seven Liga F players in your starting 11.

Sevilla’s Seven:

  • Score seven goals using La Liga players (not Liga F) with at least four La Liga players in your starting 11.

These objectives pair nicely for two reasons.

Firstly, the seven and four-player starting requirements fit perfectly into the maximum amount of starters possible.

Secondly, your chemistry should be fairly high given the shared league links, so your team won’t be completely disjointed.

You can slot in whichever Liga F and La Liga players you have lying around in your club, but here is an example team made of primarily Barcelona men’s and women’s players to use as a template.

If you already completed the Squad Foundations objectives early in the game cycle, you can put options like Ingrid Engen to good use for this objective.

Make sure you have at least one La Liga player in a forward position or simply rotate them from midfield to striker to ensure they are in the best areas to score during every rush.

If you win each match you play, you’ll have three matches to score seven goals, a relatively simple task if your La Liga players are moved higher up the pitch.

Once this first set of objectives is complete, you can create a new team for the second set.

Messi In Miami & Kane’s Class

Messi In Miami:

  • Play three matches with at least five MLS players in your starting 11.

Kane’s Class:

For your Bundesliga Attackers to properly count toward the objective, the player’s primary position (the one listed on the face of their card) must be RW, LW, ST, or CF.

Secondary positions do not count.

This second group doesn’t quite fit together as perfectly as the first set, but it does allow for more flexibility with your team-building options.

A team with 5 MLS players and a Bundesliga Attacker in EA Sports FC 24.

Select any five MLS players you have at your club.

They do not need to be very good, as you can simply use your substitutions to bring in preferred players after the match starts.

Once the game starts with those five MLS players in the starting 11, all you need to do is finish the match, and it will count toward the “Messi In Miami” objective.

While you can use any Bundesliga Attacker, a great option for you is the Trailblazers Xavi Simons card, which was previously given to everyone for free as part of an earlier objective.

If you only have one Bundesliga Attacker, then you must score a hat trick with that player in three separate matches for the objective to be completed.

If you have more than one Bundesliga Attacker, scoring three goals with them combined (per match) should also complete the objective.

What Rewards Do You Get From The Year In Review 2 Objectives?

The group reward for completing all four of the objectives is the Team of the Year Honorable Mentions Katie McCabe card, but you also receive additional rewards for completing each objective.

FC Barcelona Treble will award you with an 81+ rated Two Rare Gold Player pack and 1,000 experience points toward your season progress.

Sevilla’s Seven awards an 80+ rated Two Rare Gold Player pack.

Messi in Miami awards an 82+ rated Two Rare Gold Player pack.

Kane’s Class awards an 83+ rated Two Rare Gold Player pack.

For a combined six matches of playing, the rewards give you a (small) chance at packing an additional TOTY player, in addition to the guaranteed Katie McCabe item – best of luck on your packs.
