Raphinha sends message to Ter Stegen after mistake in Barcelona’s win over Valencia

Barcelona forward Raphinha has sent a message of support to goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen after his mistake against Valencia.

Ter Stegen was at fault for Valencia’s first goal. The German tried to chip the ball past Hugo Duro but succeeded only in gifting the Valencia striker a simple goal.

Raphinha has taken to social media with a message for his team-mate that read: “We’re all human beings and you’re still the best Ter Stegen.”

Barcelona boss Xavi spoke about how “loved” Ter Stegen was in the dressing room after the game and said he could expect plenty of support from his team-mates.

The Germany international has also received some kind words from Duro. The striker spoke after the game about how he knows all about what it’s like to have a tough time on the pitch and described the goalkeeper as a “great guy” who is “very humble.”
